Website and Waitlist Terms

The terms for using this website and registering interest in wildlynear. Last updated 2 November 2026.

1. Who we are

wildlynear is a planned local marketplace connecting buyers with nearby growers. This website is run by [To be confirmed: legal name of the operator (sole trader or registered company), company number if any, and registered or trading address] — the same operator named as data controller in our privacy notice.

The quickest way to reach us is the contact form, which sends your message to the operator. [To be confirmed: a postal address or phone number, if you want to publish one]

2. What this website is for

This is an informational, pre-launch website. It explains what wildlynear plans to offer and lets people register interest. It is not a shop: there are no products for sale, no prices, no basket, no checkout and no transactions of any kind.

What we describe here is indicative. Plans, areas, products and timing may change before launch.

3. What registering interest does — and does not — do

Registering interest adds your details to our launch planning list. It does not:

  • create a marketplace account, or reserve a username;
  • place an order, a pre-order or a reservation;
  • require payment, card details or any commitment to buy or sell;
  • guarantee access to wildlynear, availability in your area, or a place for growers;
  • guarantee a launch date, or that wildlynear will launch in your area at all.

We’ll use your registration to plan where to launch and to contact you about it. Launch emails are sent only to people who ticked the optional box, and you can stop them at any time.

4. Your details

Please give accurate contact details and tell us if they change, so we can reach you about launch planning. Use the contact form to correct or delete what you’ve given us.

Only submit your own information, or someone else’s with their permission. We can’t check that details are true or that they belong to you, so we handle deletion and correction requests by a person rather than automatically.

5. Using the website lawfully

Please use this website lawfully and don’t:

  • use it for anything unlawful, harmful, deceptive or abusive;
  • submit false information, or other people’s information without their permission;
  • collect or harvest contact details from the website, or use automated tools to scrape it;
  • overload, disrupt or try to gain unauthorised access to the website or its forms.

We may limit or block use that puts the website or other visitors at risk. Because the forms are protected against spam and abuse, submissions may be rate limited.

6. Website content

The text, layout, design, logo, illustrations and photographs on this website belong to the operator or are used with permission. You may read the pages, print a copy for your own personal use, and share a link to any page.

Please don’t copy, republish or adapt the content, or use the wildlynear name or logo, without our written permission — and don’t use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your products. Where we show third-party material, it stays the owner’s.

7. Accuracy and our responsibility

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we don’t promise that it is complete, error-free or always working, and our plans may change.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded — for example death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud — and nothing in them affects rights you have under consumer and data protection law that cannot be contracted out of.

8. Changes to the waitlist and to these terms

If we make a material change to the waitlist — for example to what registering means, what we plan to send you, or who runs wildlynear — or to these terms, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change affects what you signed up for, we will also email people who registered; that is an administrative notice, not marketing.

If you’d rather not continue after a change, you can ask us to delete your details using the contact form at any time.

9. What these terms don’t cover yet

These terms don’t include buying and selling, seller arrangements, refunds, or collection-shop arrangements. Those will be written separately, and published for you to read, before the marketplace opens.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not take away any rights you have under the law of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
